TOCK.earth, our sustainability project, proudly supported by Christchurch City Council through the Sustainability Fund has the green light to take TOCK the lovable time travelling robot into pre and primary schools across Christchurch with fun interactive in class workshops.
TOCK.earth is not for profit so any help spreading the word is greatly appreciated. Together we CAN create a brighter future.
Now in its 33rd year, the Science Roadshow is back on the road for 2021.
The Science Roadshow strongly supports the Nature of Science strand and the Five Foundational Science Capabilities and is an exciting and entertaining learning programme of two live demonstrations and 55-60 hands-on exhibits that broaden students' knowledge of the STEM subjects.
The programme lasts for 80 minutes and includes two fantastic live shows:
"Experimenting!" - thinking scientifically and learning how to experiment
"Up, down, all around” - the science of gases.
PLUS A range of over 60 hands-on exhibits grouped under the themes of:
Electricity, Fair Tests, Flight Lab, Human Performance, Light, Magnetism.
